1. How many kinds of pollution are there?

       Pollution crisis is a major problem all around the world. It has affected the lives of millions of people and caused many deaths and health problems. There are basically 4 types of pollution. They are air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and soil pollution.

2. What is air pollution?

      Air pollution means the exhaust from burning fuels in automobiles, homes, and industries is a major source of pollution in the air. It is also caused by the release of particles or smog into the air from burning fuel for energy. Another type of pollution is the release of noxious gases, such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and chemical vapors. These can have further chemical reactions once they are in the atmosphere, forming smog and acid rain.

3. What is water pollution?

     Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater caused by human activities, which makes it unfit for drinking and other purposes. The major sources of water pollution can be classified as municipal, industrial, and agricultural. We can’t live without water, but now many rivers are polluted. Hundreds of dead fish can be found on the surface of rivers. People come to know the seriousness of water pollution. Our government is taking measures to protect the rivers against pollutions.
