Should we study abroad or not?

    Now more and more people from developing country tend to let their child study in other developed countries. But people are always arguing about it some people said it is absolutely right but some said it's still questionable, it seems that this is a such a controversial topic.

 

   According to the research, about 0.4 million students study abroad, nearly 70 %students come back to China to seek for their job, and almost every one can find an honourable job. The only problem is that the salary is not as high as they suppose to get. Those who are willing to go abroad always think it's a great opportunity to experience different culture and custom as well as beautiful scenery. In addition, they could practice the foreign language. But above all, they could be much well educated due to a lot better education system. Most of top universities are from US and UK, like Massachusetts, Princeton, Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford and so on, which might be the main motivation for most students from china choose these 2 countries.
 

     While those who hold a skeptical attitude towards going abroad really think safety issue could be a big problem, it is said in America people even could carry guns and it is reported those terrorism attack always happen in these European countries as well as America. Those refugees from Syria could be a big threat to people's life and property because the refugees always find to be much more difficult to find a job,furthermore, they are not well educated at all, which increase their motivation of committing crimes. What's more, at the very beginning when students go abroad they might get a homesick and they couldn't get used to the local culture and custom resulting in the culture shock, the most crucial part is that most family regard going abroad not worth the money, even most family couldn't afford it. some people has ever made statistics that most students who came back from abroad couldn't earn the money spent on studying abroad back even having worked for more than 15 years.

 

     Another big issue a lot of parents care is that when should be the best time going abroad, someone insist on going abroad after graduation of university because they could be much self-disciplined and mature as well as independent ,in that case, the safety issue needn't to be worried about.while the others think going abroad as early as possible could be the best choice since children always get better talent when they were young and they need time to get used to the local environment.

 

Last but not at least, I really think choosing the most suitable university according to your interest and major are more important than reputation and ranking of the university, in that case you can really enjoy the study.
